Even though Tim is the local tax assessor, he's still a great guy. His Dad started the shop many years ago, and Tim still keeps the hours his Dad kept, which are from 7AM to 5 PM 6 days a week. His Dad still hangs around the shop, and works really hard at being a grouch. Maybe when Tim gets his age, he'll be a grouch too, but he's a long way from that point now. (Car Talk Editor's note: Our sources inform us that Tim is now actually the county sheriff--so make sure you take any incriminating items out of your car before you take it in!)
