I own two mercedes vehicles. Repairs at the dealership are prohibitively expensive and innacurate. This small repair shop does a fantastic job in keeping my vehicles in top shape, all at a price very affordable. On numerous occasions they could have soaked me for expensive repairs, when in fact the replacement of a fuse or other simply procedure was performed. They are excellent at European car repairs. The demeanor of the shop and office is quite pleasant. I highly recommend them to anyone I find who has a need. Indeed, I have found the best - a mechanic whose efforts allow me to drive the car I want and who I can always trust 100%.

As a small shop in a small southern Illinois rural community, their level of expertise is very high. I have them service my two older Mercedes, one of which has over 180,000 miles that I use for my daily car. I own a 1975 mint Caprice Classic that they put into tip top shape when I bought it earlier. They do a great job also on my wife's Lincoln Continental. Kirks is always completely honest and fair. There have been times when I thought I was in for a major expenditure like an alternator or something and they found a blown fuse. I would have never known the difference and they knew it, they are simply good honest people. Finally, they are amazingly good on foreign cars. They are qualified and certified to do scheduled maintenance and perform the work for 25% of the factor price. They are certified to do the work on my wife's Lincoln and meet the extended warranty conditions.
