I've been taking my cars to Mick for 27 years, I've owned everything from a Pinto to a Porsche and he has always fixed the problem the first time. I've never ever had a complaint about any work he's done and I've never every heard of a complaint against him or his shop. He's always been thorough, fair and honest. He works on many exotic cars too. I've seen many Jags, MB's, BMW's and a Rolls Royce at his shop.

I found Mick's on CT's Mechanic's Files and am really happy I was able to find such a great local mechanic! My Saturn had a couple of issues and I was tired of being treated like a peon at the dealership. (I'm a twenty-something woman.) I wanted to find a mechanic I could use on a regular basis. Mick's exceeded my expectations. They fixed my vehicle's big issues quickly and even made a couple of other minor repairs for free. I was treated with respect and the price was very fair. These guys are the kind of mechanics your father or grandfather would have used--they know their stuff and have pride in what they do.

In 1978, Mick's was recommended as a good place to take foreign cars. We owned two Volkswagons at the time. I usually took a car and waited with it while the work was done. They let me watch them work and answered any questions that I had about how something worked or why they were doing something. I learned a bit from them and a bit from reading your book that the local NPR station sent me for pledging money. I echo the comments about their honesty and ability. Our family at one time had four vehicles and I saw them frequently. Our children have left home and we are back to two cars. We keep our cars as long as possible and Mick's keeps them running.
