they do a great job at reasonable prices. they explain
what's wrong and take the time to research options. eric is
the owner, but he works with you like joe and sandy did.
and of course denny is still there.

Joe and Sandy Bobst, along with Denny Turner, have helped me on many occasions with my high-mileage well-loved Hondas and Mazdas. They know the business, they're straight with customers, and their expertise is second to none. They specialize in imports.

We started taking our cars there when we were in college nearby. (Audi, VW, Saab, Volvo) We now live over 100 miles away and we still take our cars there. They are very nice people. Very honest and frank about what repairs are necessary and what can wait. I highly recommend Downs.

I have an old Volvo that occasionally needs special care. I wouldn't take it anywhere else and I've tried some other places before I found thses guys. They truly are great and that's what keeps them booked up so it can be hard to get a scheduled appointment. It's worth the wait!

We took our Suburu to the dealer to have the front axels
replaced and the cost was over $1200 for new ones and they
would not get rebuilts. Friends told us about Down
Imports. They were great. They replaced the axels with
rebuilts and made some other repairs for $500 with a good
warranty on the work. We will always Use Downs for our
import cars.
