If you drive a SAAB in a 100 mile radius of the city of Chicago, this is the place to go. They are an independend repair shop, very competent, arrange for towing (happened to me recently, drive belt failure on I94/I90), and get the job done right the first time. Although this comes at a price: Shop rate is $98 + tax. You get what you pay for.

Kevin owns the place and he's a bit of an opinionated crank, but not in a terrible way at all. His distemper is rarely directed at customers, but more at the state of the automotive world in general. He runs an honest business in a less than honest world and suffers some frustration at that fact. Mark is the head mechanic, and he is soft-spoken, hard-working and honestly devoted to providing good, reliable service. He wants you to be happy and back on the road as soon as possible. They've been in business a long time, which has allowed them to amass a small inventory of used parts, a fact that has benefited me on at least two occasions. I've had quotes from a Saab dealer and Kevin & Mark always come through at a significantly lower cost (not too surprising, I know, but worth mentioning). Everyone in the shop is friendly and helpful!
