Carlos was great. He not only fixed everything that needed to be fixed he also called my last mechanic to confirm what was already done. Carlos was honest, fair and fixed the car on time. No complaints at all. I would highly recommend this mechanic.

Oscar now owns Accurate Imports (previous owners include Steve and Rudy). Oscar was the mechanic for both of the other owners, so who better to operate/own it now than him? We've had our Ford Escort fixed there several times (hey, it's 14 years old, of course it will need some work!). The Accurate Imports folks get it right the first time, with prices that seem reasonable and very fair. Also, if they aren't experts, like on transmissions, they will refer you to someone equally as competent (like King Transmission on Grand). As a woman, I feel that I've learned more about cars from Oscar than any other mechanic. I believe he specializes in Honda, but can fix almost any make and model. Hurray for Accurate Imports. Easy access to the Addison/Milwaukee bus and Blue Line.

I was visiting in Chicago from Colorado over the Memorial Day weekend when my radiator fan decided to quit on the Dan Ryan in Friday afternoon rush hour! I managed to get the car to Oscar's shop (significant smoke) and he told me the fan had indeed shorted out and it was toast. I would need a replacement. Unfortunately, there were no Saab parts suppliers open late on a holiday weekend but Oscar came through for me in a creative way. He managed to modify a radiator fan from a Honda to fit my Saab 900 and it is still running like a champ 1500 miles later! The repair and this level of service for under $200! I might just drive my Saab to Chicago from Colorado whenever I need a tune or oil change! Thanks Oscar for all your help! Class act!

I found out about these guys from this webpage. I took a chance and they did a great job. I'm going back next week for a full tune up!

I have never met an honest mechanic in my life until I met Oscar. They accidentally lost one of my hubcaps when they did a test driver and Oscar went and bought a replacement set of 4 himself and gave them to me the next day. My buddy took his car in when his check engine light came on and Oscar inspected the car completely, only had to change a bulb, and charged my buddy only $4. He offered to pay for the labor to inspect it and Oscar wouldn't take his money. Not to mention Oscar has to be one of the nicest guys I ever met. Give him a shot with your car, trust me, he'll make sure you're satisfied.

Oscar and his crew are truly wonderful. After reading the glowing reviews, we took our 2000 Toyota Camry in for some maintenance work. Not only was Oscar's quote three hundred dollars less than the dealership, but the estimate turned out to be exactly the same as the final price. He also promised us a quick turn-around, and we were able to pick the car up earlier than we expected. Highly recommended. We'll never go to the dealership again!

This shop is the most honest and reputable place I have ever taken my cars. You can count on the best customer service and attention from them.

Oscar has taken care of me several times and goes above and beyond. Yesterday my car was overheating and I happened to be near his shop. He was closing and I said I'd be there in 20 minutes. He waited! His shop is a few blocks from the metra so I got home no problem. Today when I asked what the problem was he said it was something he had fixed 1 1/2 years ago and was past the warranty. He fixed it anyway. I've also sent my mom in several months back. She brought her car to two mechanics and was told everything under the sun was wrong. Carlos fixed it for a few hundred bucks and the car has been fine since. Carlos is the man.

The owner Oscar, has patience in explaining a problem, whether it's big or small. Work on vehicles were completed in a timely manner, while I relaxed and watched t.v. in the air conditioned waiting room. His shop is able to work on all makes and models, not just imports. He took care of my chevy trailblazer and also the nissan sentra. Very dependable shop.

Was recommended and took my 1999 Audi A6 with some engine noise - Oscar diagnosed the problem, told me my options i ncluding the costs and recommended a solution. He also fixed some small issues there on the spot, and gave me such a small bill I was embarrassed. Honst and highly competent - I will be taking my cars to him from now on.
