I cannot say enough wonderful things about Accurate Imports. They are extremely honest and very thorough. Their prices are more than fair whether the work is minor or extensive. I highly, highly recommend them.

Nice guys and they were quick. They charged 1/2 of what the dealer wanted to fix my calipers.

I drive a 92 Honda, my wife a 98 Camry and my brother in law a 97 A, all of us have had work done by Oscar at Accurate Imports. He's great value, incredibly trust worthy and will happily give estimates, and test your "check engine" light without any obligation. Great place for any asian car.

I use to take my Honda Prelude to Rudy back in Lincoln Park throughout the 90's. I was a recent college grad and very happy to find a mechanic in Chicago I could honestly trust. Around 2001 the shop moved from Lincoln Park to 4329 West Addison (just west of Addison & Milwaukee, about 1 mile west of 90-94 phone: 773 725 1820) and Rudy sold to Oscar and Steve who renamed the business Accurate Imports, Inc. Meanwhile in my life, I got married, my wife and I had a little girl, and we sold the Honda and bought a used 1998 BMW 745IL. Ahh how life changes! I recently had the engine light come on the BMW and brought it up to Oscar to take a look. I was surprised first off that there was no charge for the inspection (engine light on), which most mechanics want $100 for just to look at around Chicago. After 10 minutes, Oscar came over and said he had fixed the problem and there would be no charge for his time. I was a little bewildered and asked what was wrong. Turns out I hadn't tightened the gas cap all the way, causing the hyper-sensitive BMW's engine light to go off. My point of writing this is very simple: Oscar could have easily made something up about something being wrong for a few hundred bucks and I would have probably bought it. Instead, in almost shock, I got an honest answer at no cost. While he probably doesn't realize it yet, Accurate Imports just got a new customer for as long as Oscar is running the show!

I recently purchased a 1998 Mercedes E320 from a private owner which is no longer under warranty. To make a long story short, I found all three of the local Mercedes dealerships which I called in the Chicago area to be rude on the phone, expensive as hell in their quotes, especially on regularly scheduled tune ups, and unconcerned if I brought my business to them or not (basically because there was a long line of other Mercedes owners behind me if I wasn't willing to pay whatever they wanted). A friend referred me to Oscar at Accurate Imports on Addison and Milwaukee. I already knew what the dealers wanted for my regularly scheduled maintenance on the Mercedes and was impressed with this shop for several reasons. 1. They told me exactly what needed to be done (per Mercedes) and did the work for close to 1/3 less then the dealers quoted me. 2. My questions and concerns were answered over the phone and then explained to be looking under the hood. While I'm no mechanic, I appreciate the one-on-one time. 3. I feel like if I go back to this shop (which I certainly will), that Oscar will know who I am and be glad to see me, unlike the larger shops in the area. Call me crazy, but I like to support local businesses, and it's a home run if I'm doing so while knowing I'm saving money and getting personal attention! It's just nice to be able to trust a mechanic to do the job and give you a straight answer!
