Provide complete auto repair service. Diagnoses are accurate the first time, estimates are firm, and prices are reasonable. Steve, the owner, is always there and often works on cars along with his employees, ensuring that the shop is well run and work is done right. He has never given me any reason to doubt his honesty or competence.

Steve and his crew are a pleasure to deal with. I've had my 93 Pontiac with 190,000 miles in for routine maintenance,as well as repairs. He is a terrific guy to do business with. I've sent many friends to him for service, including my daughter, and have only received positive comments back from them.

They replaced my fuel pump with a non-dealer brand which cost about $500 total repair. It died as I was traveling out of town. I had to spend two nights in a hotel and miss two days of work while waiting for the repair. Since I was out of town, the only part available was the dealer part. They authorized the Raleigh mechanic to use the Hyundai part and told me I would be reimbursed. The Raleigh repair was $801.20. When I got back to Bloomington, they told me they would only reimburse the amount I originally paid in December since Raleigh had used a more expensive dealer part (that they authorized!). Oddly enough, they were more willing to work with my husband when he called. The issue is still on the boss's desk, but I do not trust these people any more. They do good work until it comes time to back it up and make good on their use of cheaper parts that don't hold up.

I have been a customer of Pro Tire for close to 10 years. During that time, they have serviced 3 of my cars, a Pontiac, Chrysler and now a 2000 Mercury. I have always found Steve and manager, Jeff, to be friendly, knowledgeable, fair and honest in their dealings with me. As a example, this past March I had my car in for some major engine repairs. Then this past week (September), the engine light went on. I quickly drove it over to to Steve's. He took it in immediately. About 45 minutes later, he came and told me the car was ready to go. He said they found a bad coil and replaced it. When I asked how much I owed, he said, "no charge, I'm going to warranty it out." Honest? You bet they are.
