Jeff and his guys are always courteous and helpful and they always fixed everything to my satisfaction and at a decent price. Often I would go in thinking I had a major problem, and they would fix some minor inexpensive thing--sometimes even a free fix. Sometimes I'd go in for a tune-up and Jeff would tell me that I didn't need one yet. He never did any unnecessary work and always took the time to explain anything I wanted to know. He and his guys helped me keep a 1986 Pontiac Sunbird on the road for almost 14 years. Although they are near the Metra station--they usually have someone available to give you a ride to the station or even back home! Recently they helped me decide that the old Pontiac was not worth repairing further and I bought a 1999 Saturn. I'd recommend Jeff's to anyone--and often have--everyone who has gone there has been pleased.

i have been taking my used cars to jeff's (dave's) auto for almost thirty years. As a women with used cars, they make me feel good about my buying decisions. they treat me like a person, not like a silly little girl.

My family has been taking our cars to Jeff's for 15 years and they have always done a great job. They are very friendly and fixed the cars fast and for a resonable prices and are they trustworthy. They were alway honest with us and would only fix things that need fixing. They would also help with rides to place after the car was dropped off. They are also close to the Northwest Metra train line which was helpful when working downtown. When something goes wrong wtih your car working with Jeff's makes things much easier.

2 cases: 1)The people at Jeff's diagnosed a non-urgent problem, but I ended up going somewhere else to get it taken care of. The other guys screwed it up and it was 3 trips back before it was straightened out. 2) I had some brake work done and ended up submitting a claim to my extended warranty. The warranty people told me that the charges for the OEM parts Jeff used were 'dead on'and that my mechanics were taking good care of me.
