Very honest and very helpful. I would recommend Advanced Auto to anyone but especially any female who is tired of being treated poorly by their mechanic. Everyone there is very service oriented. I had taken my car to several places knowing in general what was wrong but was always told that they could find nothing( the last being alignment). I took it in to Advanced and they confirmed everything that I had suspected and took an overall look to warn me of upcomming problems. The topper of the experience is when I picked up my car. They had washed it and cleaned the interior-- including the windows! Now that is service.

From my first beater I inherited when I turned 16, to the first nice car I bought, my family and I have always taken our cars to Advanced. They go out of their way to help you-- I've been out of town when something's gone wrong and they've worked over the phone with me and helped me to find a mechanic who could do what needed to be done-- saving me as much as $1000 in one instance whenI had a part that needed to be unclogged, but, being female and in a desperate situation everywhere I went insisted it was impossible to do and they needed totally replace the system. They find the problem, listen to your concerns, never treat your badly or talk down to you, they explain what needs to be done and what priority things need to be done it (if it can go another couple thousand miles, they won't snowball you and push you to do it), give you a very fair price and back their service. Heck, when they weren't sure my car was going to be done on time, they offered to loan me one of their personal cars to use for the weekend because they knew I was going out of town! That's what I call going above and beyond---

I was hit up at the local jeep dealership with an estimate for over 1000 dollars to repair a cracked exhaust manifold. They wanted over 600 dollars just for the part. I was able to shop around for a new manifold and took it to Dave and his people slapped it on right away, at a fairly reasonable price and in a timely manner. They ended up saving me over 500 dollars off of what the dealership would have charged me. I dealt with dave and he is a very honest, jovial man. he'll be seeing me more in the future. (hopefully not too much more though. thanks dave and staff for a good experience.

Dave and his crew are top notch. I have been using Advanced Auto for 14 years, through seven different vehicles (six domestic and one foreign), and keep going back. We buy used and run them into the ground, and Dave is on board with that...he fixes what is needed, and alerts me to what might need to be done next. Amber will give you a ride if you need it, and Dave is very accommodating in letting us grab our vehicle if we can't get there until after hours.

I drive a VW Vanagon, actually 2, and both have spent some significant time in the shop. Previous mechanics managed to cover things up or simply disconnect things to get by, which has caused problems. Dave and Mike have been able to replace everything I have asked for, sometimes with used parts at a discount, and both vehicles run like new. They are more than willing to stay open late, provide transportation, and Dave even came out for a look after someone ran into me while I was legally parked on the street. I have known Dave for over 30 years, but had lost touch with him, and was overjoyed when I found he had opened his own shop.

This shop will renew your faith in mechanics. On at least two occasions they checked my car and didn't charge me anything, including once when the dealer had told me I needed a valve job (close to $2,000) and they sprayed belt dressing on the serpetine belt and told me (correctly) that I'd get 10's of thousands more miles wihtout needing a valve job. They'll also show you all of the parts that they replace. Simply the best.
