I have taken both foriegn and domestic cars to Coralville Frame and axel. They have done alignments and front end work of varying degrees of seriousness for me. Have used "pre-driven" parts when I was low on cash, always treat me with respect and do not show bias based on race, gender, or sexual preference. My wife is even comfortable going there, because they don't have swimsuit calendars hanging around the shop. They fix what they say their going to fix, they do it right the first time and they don't charge an arm and a leg.

These guys work on my car and my husbands truck. My husband can sniff out bogus salespersons in a microsecond (did I mention that my husband is a salesman?) and he liked the people here immediately. Hubby and I drive all over Iowa so we have lots of miles on our vehicles and no time to wait for them to be repaired. Although the shop seems always full and hopping they get us in very quickly. If I was in need of an honest and reliable mechanic, I'd go to these guys in a heartbeat.

I've only used these guys once, but they have the reputation for being good and reliable and, in case you need it, the place to bring a performance car for suspension-related work. I brought them an older Porsche for an alignment and they didn't blink. The big tire shops didn't want to touch it. They did the job quickly, spoke with me about the various adjustments that it needed. They didn't touch the back end because it was well within tolerances. That bodes well. They aren't the cheapest in town, but they're specialists. I was in and out quickly. I'd feel good about using them again.
