The owner, Jack, is crazy country boy who loves his work and people. He will not do work the car doesn't need. I now live 2+ hours away from this shop, but if I can "limp" a car up to him safely, I'd rather take the time and let Jack fix it right. Jack, James and Larry are mechanics, not parts swappers. They know vehicles. I have personally watched Jack argue with a piece of diagnostic equipment ( I told you he was crazy) the fix he did from his own listening to the car worked, while the computerized diagnostic machine was off on a wild goose chase. You won't find many high dollar german makes in his shop, but if you drive Japanese or American iron, you are in good hands.

The previous reviewer hit it on the nose--Jack and his guys are excellent--they only fix things you need to have fixed, they'll honestly tell you your options (e.g. "if you can live with the squeak, it doesn't need to be repaired for safety reasons",etc.). They saved me from buying a "problem" vehicle and have been servicing the vehicle I did purchase for over a year now to my greatest satisfaction. There are closer shops to where I live, but I'd rather drive to theirs due to their experience and concern for their customers.
