I have an '87 Nissan Maxima, which model, as you might know, has a problem with leaking fuel injectors. The car now has 189,000 miles on it and is virtually trouble free. (e.g - The air conditioning still works wonderfully and has never been 'serviced'!) I could go on and on, but this is NOT the place, I realize, to expound on the virtues of my wonderful Nissan Maxima. The point is, at 130,000 miles I noticed a strong gasoline smell and took it into the Dealer who replaced only 3 of the injectors instead of all 6 like they should have. I took Rick Tonelli at T & G to straighten it out, and I would recommend him and his intelligent and competent staff ( no joke intended ! ) to anyone living in the Atlanta, GA area. Thank you for allowing me to express my opinion(s).

They were a pleasure to work with. Honest, and understood our circumstances. Both times I have gone to them they have responded within the same day. Both times my costs were about a third of what I expected. Highest recommendation, I am disappointed that I must move soon.

Rick and John, Owners have worked on our cars (originally a '69 Camarao and '78 & '79 Cadillacs, now '92 Lexus ES250, '99 Lexus RX300, and '92 Infiniti) for over 25 years. They have ALWAYS satisfied us with their work. They charge a fair price for their work. They will rush a job if they can for the customer's convenience. They ALWAYS stand by their work and will correct any mistake. I have had very few returns in all my visits. They have worked virtually exclusively on our cars. They will explain their work throughly and you will not leave their shop without the repairs made or a full explanation - in everyday terminology. GREAT Mechanics - GREAT PEOPLE. Highly recommended. Rick and John are the greatest. I had a bad experience with a "quickie" oil change place, and T&G guessed the problem by just talking to me, and it turned out that they were right!

I found these guys not long after I moved to the Atlanta area in 2001. I was handing tools to my dad on the farm when I was 4, been fixing since I was 8 and owned my own shop for a while when I got bored with graduate school. I've gotten VERY picky over the years. It's VERY hard to find good, much less GREAT folks to fix stuff you don't want to (or, nowadays, can't because of the stuff required). Rick and John are, simply, over the top. The most fun I can have in a day is to stop and watch John - chief wrench - do wizard work. the next most fun is to watch Rick chat with customers - you couldn't ask for a nicer guy to take care of people. They are ABSOLUTELY picky about their help - all these guys are careful, HONEST, and fabulously competent. I know this is ridiculously effusive, but they've earned it.

I have had two different cars over the years that have had "odd" issues that no one else had a clue what was going on. T&G figured it out on the first shot. We have been using them for over 10 years, and they have been incredibly honest and competent no matter the issue. When my tire shop told me I needed a rear brake job, I took it to T&G and was told I had at least another 12k before I needed it done. I don't think you could ask for a better group of guys!!
