M & M did a great job at repairing the 5th gear on my 150K+
mile 1998 Toyota Corolla manual transmission. Very
knowledgeable and competent mechanics and with the know how
to take care of manual transmissions too. They swiftly and
correctly diagnosed my problem and, more importantly, they
were HONEST!
They let me know that my transmission didn't need the more
expensive bearings that would've made the repair (already a
transmission rebuild) even more expensive. That honesty and
disclosure added with their good communication and
competence at the repairs gave me huge confidence in them.
The repairs also speak for themselves, too.
They also do more than just transmissions, and I can
imagine that their service with other systems is just as
good.
If you're in the Athens, GA area and need a transmission
repair, especially a manual, head out to Statham. These
guys will treat you right!
