This is a family business, I think every son, daughter, niece, nephew, and roommate works there. It's a larger shop so they can handle a lot of vehicles. They have tons of dogs there (all adopted) who are super-friendly even though they probably could tear your head off if they wanted to. It was recommended to me by a woman in my office who is so frightening she was thrown off several of our construction sites. I thought WOW, if she is pleased, they must be stellar. I had taken my car, when I first bought it, to Savannah Tire. They told me my brakes were going and I needed a new ball joint. I said I'd hold off on that work for now. I took it to Prewitt and he said, "I sure would like to sell you a ball joint but there's nothing wrong with it. And your brakes are fine, they were a little dusty but we cleaned 'em out, there's a lot of wear left on those pads." I admit it, it was love. Once, my check engine light came on. I brought it to him and his son Peyton told me it was just a loose gas cap. They didn't even charge me. We laughed over pictures of Peyton's newborn daughter. They used to service my 90 Camry too, and he was probably the only human ever to make me feel good about driving such a clunker. I love this place so much.
