Dave Hicks and his staff of mechanics are always courteous, and helpful. My wife can take her car in to have work done on it and they treat her with care and respect. They only fix the items that need it. Many times they will tell me to hold off on a particular problem until it has to be fixed. It's not bad enough to or not necessary. Very seldom do I have to take it back. Infact, I cannot think of the last time we had to return our car because it wasn't fixed properly. They do the job right the first time. We have been dealing with Dave for 10 years and gladly recommend him and his people to our friends.

I have depended on Mike at Hicks Automotive for 8 or 10
years for honest efficient repair service. On the few
occasions whan they couldn't fix the problem, they have
always said so and not charged for the advice. There have
even been a few occasions when the bill was less than I
expected. Most Important, I know I can send my wife to
their shop without worrying about them trying to inflate
the list of additional repairs. I have recommended them to
many friends.

They do it right the first time. Most of their mechanics
have been there for 10 - 15 years. Hardly any turnover in
personnel. That says a lot!

They told me the problem was not the transmission (good
news) and the car was repaired and ready the same day
(also good news). The original problem was less
pronounced, but still there (bad news), and I needed to
bring the car back (also bad news). They indicated that an
additional part required replacement (bad news), but that
since they had not corrected the problem, there would be
no charge to me (very good news). I checked with another
shop, and their estimate was about $100 higher than my
cost for the original repair. The second repair would have
cost about $140 dollars, most of which was for the part. A
shop that made it right, and even absorbed the parts cost -
extremely good news.
Also, I could leave and pick up the car after hours which
was very convenient.
