We've taken our 1990 Volvo to Mori for various problems over the last couple of years. Thus far, Mori's work has proven competent and timely. On one occasion, given the opportunity to take advantage of our ignorance and our wallet by determining that we'd need a new head gasket, Mori instead identified a broken valve spring as our problem. That was a much cheaper fix than a new head gasket! And unlike another place that works on Volvo's in the area where they always seem to find the most expensive solution to a problem, thus far Mori manages to find a fix for about half what the other place comes up with.

Over 15 years ago based on my brother's recommendation, I took my MB to Mori. Since then, all family and friends' import cars have been taken to him only. All through these years, neither I nor anyone who I have recommended to him has ever been unhappy with him. P.S. All his customers were customers first, later all become friends like me!

Mori stands apart from other mechanics. He maintains our cars with exceptional competence. We have come to see him as a friend because he really cares. He only works on imports, but if that is what you have you can say good-bye to worrying about your car. Just put it in Mori's hands. He always test drives, even for an oil change. This way he can advise you on what to watch for. He uses factory parts because he knows they fit, but he can fix things instead of just replacing. This saves a bundle when you are talking about whole assemblies. When it comes to charges, he is consistently fair. You really learn to trust him. We have recommended him to many friends and all are very pleased and have gone out of their way to tell us. Mori's great!

Found Mori's name on this page (CarTalk's Find a Mechanic). I thought the one negative comment about him was an isolated example. Mori didn't disappoint me. He did a good job for less than a reasonable price. My only regret is that I hadn't found him earlier.

Precision Tune on Buford Hwy failed my 94 Nissan Truck's emission test. Called Mori who advised to get it retested when the engine is hot. Took it back when the engine was hot and the person at Precision Tune insisted it wouldn't make any difference. I insisted that he retest my truck. He did. It passed. Mori's advice saved me much of my time, money and anxiety.

I was referred to Mori by a former co-worker years ago and haven't taken my cars to anyone else since. He's done a great job at keeping my cars running smoothly. I have a Honda Accord with 160k miles, and this wouldn't be the case without Mori. On at least two occasions, he's referred me to Honda, after calling them and getting my cars covered under an extended warranty. The best testament to his work is that I won't buy a car that he doesn't work on.
