Del Outlaw is not a shade tree mechanic and he prices
accordingly. But you can rely on his work, because he
stands behind it. He also will have your car ready when
he says it will be ready and at the price his gave you
before beginning. I think he's honest and doesn't try to
take advantage of people. His father owned and ran the
business before Del. Back then it was called Outlaw
Automotive. I think it's like the Smucker's thing, with a
name like Outlaw, you know it's got to be good. ;)

Del Outlaw is a second generation operator at this
location. Consistently kind and fair.

I've used Del's for several years now (for better or for
worse, he calls me by my name when I walk in). The prices
definitely seem reasonable. They offer me rides when I drop
off (I usually ride my bike anyway), and leave the car
outside for me if I can't make it to the shop during their
working hours. Overall, I've had a very good experience with
them.

The guys at Del's seem to work well together, ask each
other's advice, and communicate well with customers. This
makes me feel better about the quality of the service that I
receive. I don't mind paying them for their work. Del is
honest about what repairs are needed, and I'll trust his
shop with any service on my car. I am female, so ladies,
you can have confidence that Del won't rip you off. I found
Del's through CarTalk.com when I moved to Macon. So, thanks
to everyone who contributes to this forum.

They have also worked on our Honda and fix things when
needed. I believe them when they tell me or my wife what we
need to do to our cars.

Del Outlaw has kept my severely neglected'93 Toyota pickup
alive for the last 10 years. He has done everything to it
from treat the arthritic breaks to a heart transplant.
When my timing belt broke (due to 20,000 mile between oil
changes) his price was way under the dealer and had it
ready in 2 days when the dealer wanted a week. My wife
trusts him with her Lexus too and that's saying something.
She won't even let me check the oil in her baby.
