I recently experienced a problem with my Nissan Altima. My Service Engine Soon light came on so I took it to the Nissan dealership to have it looked at. They wanted $100 just to run a diagonstic on it. That wasn't fixing it...that was $100 just to tell me what was wrong with it. I was so annoyed. But, I told them to go ahead. It turned out to be a bad oxgen sensor, and they wanted $500 to replace the sensor IN ADDITION to the $100 for the diagnostic. So, that would have been $600 total just to replace a sensor. I told them 'Absolutely not.' So, I went to to look for a reputable mechanic. I found Lee Adams at North Atlanta Import Service. He is great! I called him and told him the Service Engine Soon light was on it my 2003 Nissan Altima and right away he said my oxygen sensor was bad! He knew without even seeing the car what it was! So, right away I was really impressed. Lee gave me a quote over the phone of $215. He gave me that quote even AFTER I told him what the dealership was trying to charge, and he was still $400 cheaper. $400!!! I love him! He fixed my car in one day and it has run perfectly since. I have recommended him to everyone I know! He is really honest and tells you everything he is doing to the car, and he doesn't try to take adavantage of you. And I am a female, so that is important. I will take my car to him as long as I have a car. He is really great! And it is great to find a mechanic who makes it EASY and stress-free getting your car fixed!
