North Atlanta Import Service, 101c Pearl Industrial Ave. Hoschton, Ga 30548 I really recommend this shop! Lee, the owner, is very fair and honest. He's been working on my car for years - since back when he was working at another shop. When I last brought my car into his shop I was ready to fix all 4 brakes, but Lee was very honest and told me that only the rear brakes were ready. Mechanics don't always treat women like they have a brain, but Lee takes the time to explain whatever you need to know. You can tell he really loves what he does.

Lee gives the most detailed, clear explanations of what he is doing to the car and why. More than once he has pointed something out that could be done to the car but doesn't NEED to be done--flagging it for the future. In other circumstances, mechanics would simply fix it, or say it needed to be fixed. He is better than most mechanics I have been to at diagnosing apparently tough problems (a problem that my father spent $1300 at the dealer trying unsuccessfully to fix, Lee fixed in one visit for next to nothing). I wouldn't buy a used car without letting him take a look at it first--he can spot a car that has been badly treated even when it is not obvious mechanically. The shop itself is clean and comfortable (nice comfy chairs!), and Lee is an all-around great guy (smart, very funny). I can't recommend him highly enough.

I found Lee (shop owner & mechanic) on this website and saw that he came well recommended. We were trying to have a trans and eng leak repaired, that the Nissan dealership quoted us almost $1600 for repair that included installing complete new seal kits on the trans and engine. Lee spent some time with me looking over my wife's car and discussing possible corrective actions. Lee determined that it was only an axle seal and main engine seal that were leaking. He also found and repaired a leaky coolant hose, all for about $450. The car has not leaked yet in the last 4 months. Lee was very upright and honest with us, and told us what he felt was needed to fix the problem, and not try to sell us "extras". I have already recommended two of my co- workers to contact him for repairs on their Nissans and Hondas. I was very satisfied with the repair and Lee's work.
