These guys are just great. I'll never go back to the dealer again. The first time I went in, the guy found a nail in my tire totally unrelated to my problem and patched it no charge. Then after fixing the main problem with my brakes, they called a couple of days later just to make sure everything was okay. Friendly and courteous--I can't recommend them highly enough.

I knew I hit the jackpot the first time I took my car to Lewis Motorwerks. I was frustrated with taking it to the dealer because they would never explain the problem, I was just a number there. The first time I went to Lewis Motorwerks, they spent 30 minutes chatting about my car with me - demonstrating they know the car inside and out (and in particular my 1.8T motor). Their prices are lower than the dealer, they explain what's going on, they do the right thing (more on that in a minute) and they know VWs and Audis inside and out. The last time I was there it turned out I needed a water pump. But they had replaced my water pump about 1.5 years before! They were surprised it went bad - and because of this they gave me the labor for free. I expected NOTHING - with cars, it seems like "oh well" and I fully expected to just pay for a new water pump and labor. I've been taking my car there for over 3 years and will continue to do so. I'm looking for my next car and I want to stick to VW/Audi just because I know I have a mechanic I can trust. And being a single female that goes a long way in a big city like Atlanta.

These guys do good work and do it at very reasonable cost. I drive out of my way to use them. Highly recommended.

This is a true family-run business with the utmost customer service and courtesy. One day while waiting on my repair, the senior Mr. Lewis who is the runner, gave me a ride to get some lunch. A small random act of kindness, but much appreciated. I usually drop my car off the night before because I don't live nearby. This is a testament to how much I trust and appreciate their quality of work. My car is always ready when they say and I am often surprised at the price of their repairs -- they're lower than expected. I find their work so dependable, they may dictate my choice of new car in the coming years. I've had my eye on a BMW, but I am leaning towards another VW or Audi. I value a reliable auto mechanic so much, it's virtually part of the options package with the car. Back to the trust issue. It is apparent this is a family who truly stands by the cars they work on as every member owns one or more VWs and/or Audis. I don't care how far away I live. As long as I'm in the Atlanta area, I will keep my business with Lewis Motorwerks.
