The customer service people are nice, but the results on car
work are seriously lacking. They do offer a free shuttle for
10 miles or less, but temporary cars are not free. I don't
know how much they charge for that, since I didn't need it.
I also don't know how much their normal charges are for any
work, because my car is still under warranty. That said, I
have brought my car in no less than four times in a single
month, and every time I have gotten it back, it does
something worse than before. The first time the alarm was
going off at random. Then it was the alarm and the air bag
light would stay on. Then it was the alarm, the air bag
light and the passenger door wouldn't lock. Then, this last
time, my car completely quit on me on one of the busiest
roads in Atlanta. One mechanic called me asking questions
about my battery. I told him that it is NOT my battery since
it was new and was working fine until they worked on it.
Then with an an incredibly rude attitude he actually said,
"Did I say it was your battery? I NEVER even said it was
your battery." Really? Then why the questions about when I
bought it and if it was acting up before or after I bought
the battery? Yes, before or after. Sounds like he was trying
to blame the battery. Anyway, needless to say, I do NOT
recommend this place to anyone. Ever. If yours is like mine
and is still under warranty, then I recommend going to a
different dealership rather than Jim Ellis. They do not
appear to care whether or not it really is fixed, since it
is still in the shop as I write this. Even if it is finally
fixed this last time, 4 times to get it right is absolutely
unacceptable.
