The mechanic showed me the parts that were broken and explained what could have happened. He found the problem immediately despite the fact that I had been to another mechanic over 5 times for the same problem. He showed me what the other shop had done to falsify their repair work and advised me on how to follow up.

Not only have they done an excellent job on both my vehicles, they've fixed some screw-ups by a previous mechanic. Added bonus--they're quick and friendly. Highly recommended.

Since leaving Asheville and Precision International repair folks I've been searching for someone in the West Palm area who could service our cars to my persnickety requirements. Finally, these guys are it! I handed over my crusty old truck for what I suspected was a case of warped front brake rotors. They welcomed my beast into their clean, well-organized, and industrious stable full of fancy exotics and pristine classics after a quick round-the-block test drive. See, I called them at 10a, dropped the beast off at 11:30a, observed the proceedings for warning signs for half an hour without being run out of the shop, had a few brief discussions with Andrew and Peter, then left. They investigated, confirmed my suspicion, and presented a proper plan of action to fix at a reasonable, low-to-mid market price. I authorized, and they said it would be ready by 5p. I showed up at about 5p to pick up (this is usually where things start going really wrong with the other service providers we've tried here). They had it ready for me, had reviewed it carefully for other problems without finding any, had cleaned it (dang, so much for my experiment!), and had treated my stinky A/C system with some de-stinkifier anti-mold "MiST" stuff. Nice! Thanks New Age guys & thanks Car Talk! I'll come back to this website and rate again as we get more experience. Didn't rate some items as have not had experience yet. Overall, I'm quite happy and actually looking forward to our next automotive service need (bizarre feeling).

They were very friendly. They checked the car thoroughly, replaced my tires. Even though they could have charged me an arm and a leg for the alignment and new struts, they were honest and let me know that I could wait on those repairs. They also figured out a problem with the check engine light which no mechanic has been able to figure out since I bought the car 6 years ago.
