I have been using these guys since 1988. They have worked on my two Plymouth Voyagers (88 with 175,000 & 94 with 105,000 miles), Toyota Celica (78 with 180,000 before I sold it), Chevy Van (76 with 160,000 when I sold it) and my sons` 92 Geo and daughters` 96 Corolla. These guys are so honest it makes me cry! I live 30 miles from the shop, and pass by a hundred mechanics on the way to their place. I would never stop anywhere else. Their prices are very fair (not cheap, but very fair, and they never do work that is not really necessary.....many a time Mr Dukes has told me that a repair or service is not worth doing!) Sometimes they keep the car more than one day as they have to order parts from a local supplier. I always plan on getting a ride as bus service is spotty, however they always offer me a ride, if I really need one. Friendly and Honest! Some repairs, like transmission and body work, they do not do themselves, but can get it done at a good price....and they guarantee that work if it is not right. I often see Porches and Mercedes in the lot along with my Domestic. These guys are good. My only anecdote is about how I got the nickname "Sparky". It was the time I learned what happens when you replace a battery yourself, at night, in a dark parking lot, and get the positive and negative terminals crossed. Enough said.
