This is an arm of "Jim Lash Blue Book Cars", all at the same address. It sounds like an oxymoron but Jim Lash is an honest used car salesman. They do not provide loaners but you can rent from their other arm "Holiday Rent-A-Car Inc, for $12.95 if your car is being serviced. The head mechanic will not hold you hand but he will tell you what is wrong almost from your description and type and year of car and get if fixed. He has talked me OUT of thousands of dollars worth of repairs on my three cars over the last four years. An example. I left my car there to have the clutch on my 1994 Nissan Sentra changed. It had 98,000 miles on it. I called from Canada and he said the car was ready. I was astounded at the speed. He said I did not need a new clutch, only an adjustment. And he was right! now at 129,000 it still is fine! Ergo, I am a very biased customer.

I have only had my personal vehicle serviced by Blue Book once, but it was a very favorable experience. And I personally know several dozen people in the area who have bought and sold cars through Jim Lash over the last 12 years, and their overall experience with him and his service staff has been the same - qualified, friendly, honest, fair, helpful, generous, and so forth. They seem to have a fairly strong sense of the value of "just doing the right thing right - the first time."

Not very convenient location for me, but I gladly go the extra mile to get competent, fair, honest service.

They have been very patient with me and my husband and the "old" cars we have and like to hang on to! They are very friendly and easy going. Jim Durs is the manager of the repair shop, and I trust his judgment and honesty and appreciate his sense of humor!
