The owner of Hondacurate Inc is not only one in a million, he is competent enough to build and race his own cars.

I went in to get my timing belt replaced among other maintenance, and Robert, the owner, told me I didn't need it replaced. I know if I would have gone to the dealer, they would have replaced it even if it didn't need to be. I saved a lot of money and found out there actually is such a thing as an honest auto mechanic. I would recommend Hondacurate to anyone.

Hondacurate has fixed a variety of cars for me over the years, multiple Hondas, a Ford, and my Toyota. Robert Royce, the owner/head mechanic, is superb. Time and time again he has fixed problems the dealership and other mechanics couldn't. They always do an excellent job and have even stayed late to finish up. They're honest and have sent the car back to me without charging on several occasions. I just wish they did home repair too....

Not once but twice they have returned a car I left there and not charged me a cent. In one instance, they found that a noise was simply loose lug nuts on one wheel; in another case, they road-tested my car extensively and pronounced the engine to be running smoothly (it had run poorly, even after the day I put in a new distributor cap and rotor, although it did run fine -- naturally -- on the drive to their shop). The shop seems to be a truly honest operation.

Hondacurate is one of the undiscovered treasures of the automotive repair business in Pensacola. They don't seem to have that much business (it is a big mystery as to "why"), so you can get work done very promptly without much waiting. The price is always fair, and a car owner gets the feeling that the repair shop really cares about the car and tries to do a good job. If my Hondas weren't so reliable, I would certainly use this shop more often. Other Honda owners should try this place if they don't know about it already!

My Honda Civic got a flat tire on a Sunday. I put on the spare and called Hondacurate on Monday morning. They told me to come in at 1:30. I took the car in and left 20 minutes later without paying a cent! He fixed my tire, replaced it, and put away the spare. And didn't charge me anything! I know it was a small and simple repair, but still a nice surprise. Also, just being in their shop, I got the impression they were honest and incredibly competent. I'm in Pensacola temporarily, but if I have any other problems with my Civic, I'm going to Hondacurate.

These folks are truly honest people who know how to fix cars. They are more interested in keeping customers than in making a quick sale. I trust them completely. On occasion, they have not charged me for minor repairs (unheard of!). The owner not only does most of the work himself, he is also a racecar driver. The lobby is plastered with the owner's numerous awards for automotive service and technical expertise. This shop charges less than half the cost of identical service at the Honda dealership. I refer people to them constantly. There is no reason to go anywhere else in the Pensacola area for automotive service, unless the vehicle is a make that the shop does not service.
