Our 1st visit - a 36,000 mile warranty checkup. We've recently relocated here from Massachusetts. In Massachusetts we usually had to call ahead to make an appointment for warranty check ups and it seemed they always cost about $125. Called Fountain and was told "You don't need to make an appointment for that just come in betweeen 7:30 and 4:30 Monday through Friday or before 11:30 on Saturday and we'll do the check up and oil change while you wait." When we went there, we found a large operation, 70 bays devoted to repair, and additional shop for collision repair. Approach for repair is to drive up to one of about eight "triage" booths that look a lot like turnpike toll stations. The dealership sells 6 different makes of cars, the booths are designated by make of vehicle with a couple of makes having multiple booths assigned. The service rep takes the required information, we surrendered the car, were told it would take about an hour. We were told of several eating establishments in the immediate area and shown were the waiting room was located. We went over to the waiting room. In what seemed a surprisingly short time, we were called up to the cashier where we paid out $79 and where told the car would be outside in about 10 minuets, they were running it through the car wash. Washed and vacuumed it was. Nothing leads me to believe this is anything other than their normal quality service. Certainly a change from what we had come to expect from the 2 dealerships we used in Boston and Duxbury.
