I can trust them to tell me the truth. I bring my car in for a thorough check-up every time I am going on a long car trip of over 1000 miles. I always ask them to do a 60,000 mile check-up and tell them about specific things I want them to inspect. They always charge me ONLY for parts and labor on what they actually work on. All other inspection is gratis. Recently I took my 2000 Subaru in for a 60,000 mile check- up before a 4,000 mile trip lasting 3 weeks (It has 132,000 miles on it). They replaced a front parking light, an air filter, and changed the oil at my command. They also recommended that I get two tires replaced at another place (They don't do tires). One of the tires had very good tread left (I had only used 45K miles on that 80K mile tire), but they found that the tire was defective because the tread was separating; It felt lumpy to the touch. The total price was $37.23. They are the most honest repair shop I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. Some years ago I brought in my old Honda Civic for the same 60K service after driving it for 90K miles. They did all the labor and didn't charge me anything. They only recommended that I bring it back after reaching 105K miles for a timing belt check. These guys should be given some kind of Automotive repair "Oscar" award. By the way, these guys are also brothers, just like you guys.
