We have gone to Hugh for more than ten years. We have a high degree of trust in him and his shop. Their diagnostic skills are first rate and their work is high quality and they stand behind their work. They always explain what needs to be done, alternatives, what may be coming up soon, and confirm exactly what work is to be done. Their turnaround time is quick, almost always same day unless it's a big job. They are not the least expensive shop, but given the quality, honesty, trust, and quick turnaround they are our preferred automotive repair shop. I don't understand the comment about no courtesy. We have found them unfailingly courteous, willing to explain, willing to work with our schedule and budget.

They offer alternate temporary solutions, when money is tight, and give you a heads up to upcoming costly repairs. These guys are customer service oriented !! Been using them for 20 yrs.

The boys at Hughs replaced a timing chain on my '92 Toyota 22RE 4x4 Pickup in the last couple days. Their diagnostic skills are first rate. They are not the cheapest shop out there, but they use quality parts. There was a problem with the job after I drove the truck about 400 miles, and I brought it in, and I was super impressed with their motivation to make it right. They put it in the shop first thing as soon as I got there, Ihey solved the two problems that arose with a maximum of competence and good humor, and I know they were NOT going to let that truck out of their shop until it was PERFECT, and they had several people test drive it and kept it overnight to make sure the problem was solved. The mark of a good shop is that if something isn't right, they make it right, and I would have to give Hughs top marks in that department. I would go back to them in the future in a heartbeat, and that says it all. 5 stars. . .

Hugh's seriously upsells, includes unnecessary parts, does poor work and does not honor their warranties, to the degree that they will hire a lawyer rather than fixing their mistakes. Their upselling cost me thousands. Their mistakes cost me many thousands more. The first tip off should have been the govt vehicles in their stalls. They are used to overcharging and getting paid to fix their on mistakes.
