Gunner is a foriegn car guru. (He probably also works on domestic. Just ask.) He is honest to a fault and loves his work. He works at night, so don't bother calling in the AM if you want to talk to him personally. He is simply an all around good-guy mechanic and he will also help you save money with used parts, etc. when he thinks it is okay. The biggest downside with Gunner's work is that your car may not get fixed as fast as at some places. But when he gets it done, you'll know he checked everyting and did it right. If there is a problem, he will always make good. A mechanic you can trust and take at face value!

Gunner, the owner, is one of the best mechanics I know. I do a lot of work myself, mostly because I don't trust most of the mechanics in Gainesville. Gunner is amazing at diagnostics, he can figure out any problem, and always gives you options for repairs, if possible. He's always willing to pick parts from junkyards, and will save you money if he can. He's honest, fair, and knows cars better than anyone. I have an old Toyota Land Cruiser, its'a weird truck, and most people I wouldn't let touch it. Gunner knows this truck, and I have no fear letting him work on it. As the other review says, he works overnight, which can be a pain, and he's not easy to get a hold of except in person, he's not fast, but if you want it done right by someone who cares about your car and will treat you like a person. Go see Gunner. He's great for little stuff too, brakes, AC, etc. I wouldn't trust my cars to anyone else.
