I was referred to Rick by a friend I work with, who had an older BMW that needed a lot of TLC. I took my 1995 Volvo 850 to him when I was considering buying it (used, from a dealer) to have it inspected. He pointed out several minor things which the dealer had already agreed to repair. I have taken my car back to Rick for routine maintenance and for problems with the A/C and electric seat controls. I have found him to be extremely honest, much cheaper than the dealer (the seat repair was $80 vs. $228 for the dealer), and he gets things done when he says he will. Incidentally, I have been able to convince him to come down on his already ridiculously low shop fees if I think the repair is too expensive.

Rick is highly competent on Volvo and BMW, but is willing to tackle other makes. He is always willing to troublshoot problems with you; takes the time to really get a good debrief so he tackles the actual, not the imagined problem.

The owner is particularly well-versed in BMW, Volvo, and Mercedes repairs, but is willing to tackle just about any import car repair. Rick is very busy, but has always repsonded to my call if I have a true emergency. I try to leave cars with him so he can work it in to his schedule. Always top notch work at a fair price.
