Not necessarily cheap (although he will get a used part
from an out of town supplier, which saves lots of money.
My chief reason for going is is remarkable competence and
basic honesty.

Vinnie is a former Formula One race car driver who is
reknown as the master mechanic of the area. He fixes
everything from high-end Lamberghinis to your kid's junker
Volvo. He has personally picked me up on a Saturday
afternoon when my radiator overheated and I was stranded. He
took care of my parents' Mercedes and Lexus for years, and
talked me into the Toyota Highlander 4-cylinder instead of
the hybrid because he said the gas mileage is nearly the same.
If you believe in the axiom "cheap, fast, and good, pick
any two", I guarantee Vinnie is cheap and good. Because he
works on the cars himself, he is not always fast. If you have
the time, he will be happy to engage you in the Rant of the
Day- always entertaining.
By the way, he really is Jamaican, not Indian.
