Buddy's was formerly on your list as Callagy Tire. I have a Florida car that had no A/C working. I took it there expecting the shuck and jive about needing all sorts of parts. Instead they told me I just needed a small hit of refrigerant. The A/C has worked fine since. The price they charged was reasonable and the work was done on time.

I've had AC problems off and on for years with my 1999 Explorer that the local dealer was unable to satisfactorily fix and was ready to junk it. I asked them to look at it, and they said they had fixed it. Turns out, the same problem recurred. I took it back and left it with them while I was on a trip. When I got back, they had been able to get the same problem to show up but had not found a solution. I left it longer, and they did some research and decided it was a switch problem that cost just over $20 to fix. I have had no problems since. I had the SUV into the local dealer multiple times, with loaners from them (at their expense) and significant bills (at my expense) that had not fixed the problem. Buddy's did it at a fraction of the cost. Excellent work.

I was on vacation from the frozen NY winter when my check engine and vehicle stability control lights came on. I called them. They had me come right over to their shop, and they then checked and cleared all the codes. He explained the problem and said there would be no problem driving the car home. He gave me the codes to give to my garage if the problem reappeared and didn't charge me anything.
