My daughter had her tie rod disconnect itself on the highway the garage that it was towed to, Olender's in Vernon CT estimated $313. for repairs. We knew they were gougers and jerririgged the car well enough to get it to are honest competant and friendly mechanic, Jim at Lamore's. Jim checked out every thing Olender's had said was needed. Then he fixed what was needed, one outside tie rod and one bolt on the balljoint. The car drives beautifully and Jim charged $99.64. This is the fourth time Jim has done the repair for one third to one quarter of previous estimates.

My wife and I have all our repairs done at Lamore's. Jim
and his sons Todd and Mike are honest, competent and
terrific people. We recommend them to all who inquire

Even though I've moved recently, I still go back to
Lamore's because they're the best. BTW, the Wethersfield
bus routes have changed, so look for the "U" bus, not
the "M", coming down the Silas Deane Highway.

I was 200 miles from home when my 1993 jeep blew a head
gasket. It was about 2 am when it happend, and i was
travling on 91 n in a bad spot. A state police man stoped
and recomened lamores and called them for me. Justin from
the station arrived in less than 5 min. and towed me in.
What relly suprised me was when he looked at it right away,
then told me it was going to be a few hrs. He worked
through the night and i was back on the road by morning.
Then the next supprise was when jim gave me the bill, $225,
I found out later that was way low.
I recently moved to the to Ct and they will be my grage

These guys are great! Inexpensive, high-quality, and
fast. They've also been very nice to my 3-year-old.

This is a no frills local shop. They get the work done on
time and as described for a reasonable price, and they
won't try to sell you something you don't need.

All people at Lamores are very honest. My car's oil seals
broke and it messed up the timing belts too, they changed
all for a very reasonable price and the work done was
excellent. They also changed my car's radiator at a bargain
price.I highly recommend them for any car repair including
oil changes.
