I bought a used car from him, and as I had moved to another state, you can tell I only trusted St. Tony of Festa. When the car broke down in the first thirty days he sent a flat bed to pick it up. The Timing Chain. But he also changed the clutch whilst there. HOW MUCH? I was very short. Nothing, you were under warrenty. This is an example of St. Tony of Festa, and friends from New York now go up to him.

Greg Vautrin is the owner, a quiet, gentle man who always fixes things competently and without fuss. He used to work at a service station I used where once, after a routine check-up, as a I started to drive off, the axle fell off because the owner's son had worked on the car! Greg recognized the problem right away and after that he was the only one I would let work on the car. When he started his own business, I was happy to go to him. My daughter, son and friends have used him and he is always willing to assess a problem and fix it as soon as possible. He is GREAT!

This place is actually called Vautrin (with an N). The chief mechanic is Greg Bernfeld, who specializes in Japanese cars, but can handle everything an anything. Tony handles the retail end of the place. These guys are competent, yes, but most importantly, they're HONEST.

As difficult as it is to believe about a mechanic, these people are honest, cheap and competent. They've never tried to sell me anything I don't need, and so far, they've never screwed up. I had misgivings about writing a review. On the one hand, it seems like the right thing to do. On the other hand, I don't want them to become too well known, so they won't become popular and expensive. So I hope no one reads this...
