I was rearended at a stop/yield by a man test driving a Ford 150 truck without a dealer rep in truck. After almost hitting me the first time, he "popped" the clutch & nailed my back driver's quarter. I ended up at the hospital via ambulance & he returned the car failing to mention that he had been in a accident. This being the first accident I had been involved in was a NIGHTMARE!!! Neither the dealership nor the driver would take responsibility. My insurance company,USAA, has a great working relationship with Olender's and highly recommended them. Jeff at the shop helped me with every trivial question I had. He even went so far to inform me of my rights when the dealership (who denied responsiblity)was trying to bully and harass me into signing off. Between the insurance company & Olender's, they waived my deductible & got me on the road as soon as possible. It's been 2 years now & my car is still as great as it ever was. When I picked it up, it looked like it was going to Sunday School. When it's time to rehab my 1600NX, I will bring it there. No doubt about it!

My first experience with Olender's was after an
accident...when they were done, my car ran better than
before the accident! They seem a bit on the expensive
side, and their hours aren't super convenient, but they are
the most honest and competent mechanics I have found to
date! They only do neccessary repairs and when they fix
something, they do it right the first time!

I have taken my cars to this shop for over 20 years. They
do good work and give good advice. If your car is on its
last legs (as some of mine have been), they don't try to
talk you into expensive repairs. They explain their work
and they don't talk down to you. One of the only times I
had a problem with a repair, they fixed it immediately for
free (even though it wasn't 100% certain that their work
had caused the problem.) When I got a nail in one of my new
tires, they fixed it for nothing. They are not the least
expensive shop in town, but you pay for quality and you get
it.

My husband got rear ended at 2 miles an hour in stop & go
traffic on 291. The 20-ish driver admitted it was his fault,
and no he wasn't on a cell phone. Damage was minimal, but
the car was new, and the driver insisted on making it
right. We took it to 3 different places for estimates. 2
other places were 2x as much and made it sound like the
scratch in the paint had twisted the frame & totaled the
car and were talking thousands of dollars. Olender's was
very honest. There was a possibility the bumper could be
painted & remounted rather than having to be replaced.
They did not have to replace the bumper but checked with me
again to make sure this was the repair I wanted.
I measured it when I got the car back - it was exactly 1/8th
of an inch off and saved the other driver a lot of money.
The driver then split the difference with us & made a
check out for one of our favorite charities.
