I've only been there once -- this morning, in a snow storm, to repair a burst upper water hose on my 1994 Saab 900L (Lemon). I was in and out in 30 minutes. I was treated like royalty.

My clutch gave on the way to work. I pulled my Mitsubishi Galant to the side of the road and started calling local repair shops and towing services. I received 6 quotes from $625 (Imported Cars of Stamford) to $1250 (Dealer), and repair schedules from "either late today, or early tomorrow" (Imported Cars of Stamford), to "three weeks" (dealer). Some shops never even called back. In a time of desperation and vulnerability, Imported Cars was totally above board, charged what they quoted, finished when they said they were and were a pleasure to deal with through the whole process. There were no hidden repairs etc... that I had to worry about or deal with. They were excellent. I would highly recommend them.

After the Kia dealership was unable to fix my car, Import Cars was able to fix it the same day I brought it in. Happy with communications and the hours of business.

George and his staff are knowledgeable, courteous and helpful, so we keep going back for little things or complete service on both of our cars: a 1991 Toyota Camry and a 1998 Jetta K2 (GT). His garage is always busy and filled with BMWs, Porsches, etc., but our old cars get top- notch treatment whether by appointment or for an emergency. I've never been disappointed. Thanks, George.

They are very friendly and they call back. They also did the work quickly and did it well. I think they were honest. The price is a little steep and they kept forgetting the little things I need done (fix a slow leak in a tire and a stuck sunroof), but I would definitely recommend them for their work and personality.
