After having a CV joint replaced, I mentioned I noticed oil leaking from the oil pan to transmission junction. The car had about 170,000 miles on it, and I now had to add a quart of oil between oil changes. I asked for an estimate to fix the oil leak for the next time I was there. The mechanic said if the leak was not excessive, it was best to not disrupt things on old car engines because other things would probably break during the repair. I thought that was very honest advice. My sister was charged $500 in another state for that repair. The leak is not excessive to me, but I found it and knew it was there and thought it would get worse in the future. In my 4 times at Steller's before I moved to NJ, they never tried to do work that wasn't necessary.

They kept my old '88 Mazda working wonderfully well until I broke it myself. I no longer live there, but whenever I'm home visiting my parents I try to schedule my maintenance with them because they're reliable, helpful, and polite. My family all take their cars there, and they've gone out of their way to be helpful to us. I highly recommend them.

We've been taking all our cars to the guys at Steller's for more than ten years. They are unfailingly competent and just darn nice, too.
