Shop owner (Brent) is very courteous and knowledgeable. He takes the time to road test and diagnose the problem, then expain fully all the options available. Labor rates are VERY reasonable. He has been completely fair and honest with me, and guarantees his work. The shop is not as neat as a high-priced dealer shop, and his mechanics don't wear spiffy uniforms (except one fellow...Guy...), but they know their stuff and seem to enjoy their work. It's a small shop- just three employees when I was there. Everyone was friendly. They took the time to get to know me and to communicate clearly, no BS! Brent obviously values his reputation, and seems willing to do everything to make sure the customer is satisfied.

Awsome service, made it very easy to deal with. When I left with my vehicle, I felt good about the job done. The owner (Brent) Was sure to let me know of the problem and explain why it broken. Then he gave me options on the repair. And the best thing of all was the price, very very fair!

I found Northeast Transmissions through a referral from a friend. Their sign states free diagnostics - and it's true. No job too complicated, though a miracle make take a few days. They have helped me out of a jam more then once. Prices are always fair, a few times I have thought, let me leave before they come to their senses. I personally recommend them to friends and family alike. And no, they don't wear uniforms. These are old school mechanics!

Today is April 4th 2011. My car was brought to Northeast Transmissions on January 24 2011. I never received one phone call from them. I called, and they never answer the phone. I had to go down there to find out they had my transmission out and apart and were waiting on parts from Honda. February 16, I was told all parts were in. I waited exactly 2 months to get it back. There is only one guy who works on transmissions. He is the owner, Brent Ramos. For one month after I found out my parts were in. I went to the garage every day, sometimes twice a day, I waited several hours to talk to Brent. He was never there and wouldn't return my calls. His mechanics told me he had family problems, and he was never there. They felt very bad for me, and said repeatedly that if they could put my transmission back together they would. I finally got my car back on March 22nd 2011. It has been leaking transmission fluid since I got it back; I have had it back for repairs, but it remains unfixed. Also, when I paid for the 1500 dollar repairs, he would only accept cash, which was a huge inconvenience. I am a woman, and I feel that had a lot to do with the way I was treated. Bringing my car to Northeast Transmissions, was a HUGE mistake.

Northeast Transmissions is AWESOME. They all know their stuff, repair costs are reasonable, they all explain what needs to be done clearly & concisely and repairs are done properly. If a repair is NOT needed, they will tell you so, too. I have never had anything but good service from this shop. DO NOT HESITATE TO TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!
