Oceanside has performed repair work on two of my vehicles
(Honda Element) and (Ford Flex). As they are now trained on
hybrids, I will take my Honda Insight to them if I have any
problems.
I cannot state strongly enough how honest, competent, and
reasonably priced this shop is. I have never had to return
to them because they always do the work the right way the
first time.
Mary works the front desk, and she is VERY knowledgeable of
cars so she is often able to pre-screen what could be
causing the problem and what the solutions might be.
My most recent problem was a front right brake caliper that
had seized. Mary told me if it was the caliper, that they
usually replace them in pairs, but that it could be that my
brake fluid broke down and collapsed a line. So, in my mind,
I was prepared for an expensive replacement of the calipers,
but hoping for replacement of the brake fluid. It turned out
to be the fluid, which was inexpensive to fix. This shop
COULD have told me it was the caliper and I would not have
known the difference. This is where their HONESTY shows!
Not that I want car problems, but if I do I hope they all
occur near Oceanside.
