Here's your classic, hard to find, "perfect" local auto shop. Paul and crew are fantastic! Their recent work on our Miata was the best we've ever had and the thing runs like a top. They spent many hours keeping our beloved old VW bus alive for us, even as they gently reminded us that it was a losing battle. To us, that means they know what they're doing and they're not afraid to tell a customer what they really think. A hidden jewel!

They work on many many makes and models. They try to help you out when in a bind. They prices may seem high, but they get it right the first time and stand behind what they do. They don't just throw parts at a problem, but work to understand it and fix the cause.

I worked with them long distance getting my daughters VW beetle repaired. They were friendly, competent and flexible. Fixed it right the first time. Not particularly cheap, but probably not their fault.....VW's never are. I wanted it fixed right so that daughter wouldn't have any more problems. The did a good job, timely and right at the estimate.

I have been trying to keep my old Tercel (150K miles) running until we can decide on a new car. (Actually until my wife can pick a color, put thats another story.) He has done only the work required to keep me on the road, and doesn't do work not required. ("You don't need that.") He is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Yes, he is buying a boat but I haven't bought too much of it.
