Rick and Rob are friendly and competent - a good
combination of traits.
They don't do work I request if it is not needed. I was
ready to do a complete brake job but they saw that I didn't
need the "whole works" so I saved money.
I dropped by today thinking my differential was leaking.
They accommodated me without tears and crying like some
mechanics when you drop in without notice. They put the
car on the lift and checked the rear end fluid. It was
OK. I figured Rick might charge something but he said "No
charge".
They do not take on more work than they can handle so they
don??t have to rush and they always have the car ready when
promised.

First experience: Elderly mother went there by herself when
car overheating. They could have soaked her. They
didn't. Replace a belt for a very reasonable amount and
sent her on her way. Since then (about 8-10 years ago),
they are the only ones who work on my vehicles. Rick sold
business to head mechanic, Rob, about 2 years ago.
Absolutely nothing has changed. Work is done when they say
and only had to return twice in well over 25 visits. One
was a replacement fuel injector that went bad, they
replaced promptly, no charge, sincere apology. Second was
a belt they replaced. Started squeaking several months
later. They replaced it in about 10 minutes while I
waited, no charge, no apology necessary, as far as I was
concerned. Had an entire engine pulled and remanufactured
by them. Three year warranty. 4 years later, runs like
new. They're a mile from my home, which is great, but I'd
drive well over 30 miles to have them work on my vehicles.
They've also done great work on my 6 x 12 "Big Tex" trailer.
