I can't tell you if they respond promptly because they've never screwed anything up on either of the two cars that I've taken to them. The first was a 1990 Dodge Spirit, which was a lemon when I bought it in a hurry; the second, my current car, a 1991 Shadow, I bought from my parents after my dad drove it for about 28,000 without an oil change. It's now got 77,000 healthy miles. Joe and Bob keep me on the road! Joe "Klutch" started Personal Auto care years ago with a couple of bays and a tow truck. He now has a huge garage with a bunch of mechanics, the AAA emergency service for the northern part of Middlesex County, with about 100,000 people and miles and miles of roads. He also services (I think free) the vans used by the Red Cross and a couple of other non-profits. Joe or Bob always calls when the shop finds some unexpected nastiness before they start any major repairs or if the charge is going to go over what they estimated. Best of all, all as far as I know, neither of them owns a boat!
