Paul and his son run the business. They are extremely competent, courteous to everyone and only recommend services that are needed. Paul always talks with the customer about the repairs needing to be performed and often asks the customer to look at the problem area with him to fully explain it. They have replaced timing belts, brakes, exhaust systems, suspension components as well as doing tune ups and routine oil changes on my vehicles. They do excellent work at a fair price. The shop is immaculate, which speaks to the pride in what they do.

just a great garage, the kind of mechanic you want. He's up front, honest and great with my wife. he explains everything. A couple of times he hasn't charged us for evaluating the car problem. when he had trouble diagnosing a problem, he was great with us. we feel 100% confident bringing our cars there.

My current Toyota Camry has over 250,000 miles. Previously, I owned a Honda Civic and a Toyota Tercel. Each ran for over 200,000 miles. Any credit belongs to Paul. He made sure I kept up with maintenance without ever making an unnecessary repair.

Paul still has a delightful Italian accent and will take the time to gab with his customers. He conveys great character and competence and I always feel comfortable bringing my car to his shop.

Paul has worked on my cars for close to 30 years. He specializes in foreign cars, but agreed to work on a Plymouth Acclaim I inherited for a few years (I'd just disguise myself when I drove in with the Plymouth). He seems to respect people, like me, who keep their cars a long time, and is very practical about what sort of work is worth, or not worth doing, on a car in "declining health."

My wife and I have been going to Paul and his son for over 30 years. When we had crappy beat up VW bugs we just drove right in and always felt we were treated like we were valued customers. When those bugs broke down, Paul would always tell us what the 'by the book' way was to repair the problem. Than he would present the, "or I can just...." scenario, the old let's get this vehicle out on the road at the lowest cost. Now we have real jobs and have graduated to Camerys and Prius. Paul keeps them running smooth. Each trip to H & P also includes Paul talking about 'what's coming up' with the autos, ie. going to be needing new tires soon or next time we should replace the timing belt. Gets us prepared for those upcoming major expenses. Both my children have purchased used cars in the last five years. Before purchasing, Paul inspected the vehicles and gave up his opinion. There was no change for this service. Without Paul keeping on eye on things, I believe I would give up my car and just ride a bike.
