I found out about Europa Motors about 3 years ago through the Mechan-X-Files, and the earlier reviewers were right on target -- Tony and Lorenzo are fantastic! The brothers own and operate Europa Motors and do all the work themselves. They are extremely courteous, thoroughly knowledgeable, and always take the time to explain what the problem is. My wife and I wouldnt dream of taking our cars anywhere else (currently, we have a 2000 VW Passat Wagon and a 1990 Toyota Celica). Admittedly, we dont know a lot about cars, but were pretty good judges of character -- these guys are genuinely fair and honest and take pride in their work. Weve sung their praises to numerous friends and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

After having several unpleasant experiences with different auto shops, friends recommnended Europa Motors to me. Tony and Lorenzo are extremely friendly, honest, dependable and efficient. They take the time to review the problems they find with your car. Their prices are reasonable and your car is always ready when they say it will be. I have always had a positive experience when working with them and definitely recommnend them to my friends. Not to mention, they are the neatest and most organized mechanics I've ever met!

Tony and Lorenzo are fine, fine human beings, and mechanics of the highest caliber. You'd also be well advised to discuss soccer with them, as it is a joy.

Reliable, honest and intelligent (unlike like two other mechanic brothers I have heard !!). . I have a 2000 passat and they have always done a great job diagnosing and fixing any issues.I highly recommend them. As an added bonus you might get to listen to a car talk CD !

Tony and Lorenzo are great. They know what they are doing and get it done in a timely manner. The only drawback about them is their price. They do charge a good deal for their work but hey, good work isnt cheap.

Was refered to this shop from a friend who found them through car talk. These guys were great to deal with. They explained everything that was needed to fix my car, even telling me I could go without fixing it because it wasn't a major issue. The car was in the shop for about a day or 2. My wife went to pick the car up and pay, and they couldnt have been nicer to her. Overall, great work and very reasonable. Was a great pleasure dealing with these gentlemen and plan to bring all my cars back to them when needed.

I went to these guys with my 1995 Passat based on the reviews here and they did not disappoint. I needed to have my car fixed quickly because I'm not local and needed to have it ready for my road trip back to Michigan. They delivered on time, and with clear explanations of what was going wrong and what they did to fix the problem. I'm a big VW/AUDI fan; I won't go anywhere else with my car when I'm in the New Haven/Hamden area.
