We've been going to these guys ever since we moved to Glastonbury 17 years
ago. They are the most skilled, reliable and honest mechanics I have ever known
and their large, loyal customer base reinforces this impression. They are not
the cheapest service shop in the area, but I believe they are the best and over
the course of a long-term relationship with them the Glastonbury Oil & Service
customer will do very well. What I like in particular about them:
They just don't fix the immediate problem; they're on the lookout for other
problems that need attention. If it's not an acute problem, they tell you
approximately how much time you have to fix it. They also like and respect
older cars. They've helped keep our older cars on the road for a long time, and
when the time has come to stop repairing them...they tell you. I like that.
Lastly, they're really nice, community-oriented guys. They do not overwhelm
(or belittle the customer) with gearhead jargon. They treat men and women
equally, with all due respect.

The shabby shop belies their competence and integrity. They
have always dealt fairly with me.
