I have trusted this mechanic/used car dealer to service several of my cars but even to sell me one, when one of them died! He has stood behind his work, and has worked out reasonable payment plans for expensive work. He is in business so he does charge for the work he does, but he is just as willing to let you know what has to be done, and how to do it, if you are so inclined. He also talks a little like a politician - when you ask him what could make so and so happen, he normally says "it could be due to various reason" and then asks to either see the car or a more detailed description of the problem. He has several letters and comendations on his wall attesting to his expertise and he runs a used car rental agency which is usefull to provide customers with temporary transportation.
