I have a 96 Mercury Sable purchased used, a few years ago, with 30K miles. It is now at 100K plus. It was time for our state inspection and I needed a catalytic converter. After getting a quote from a Ford dealer, I went to Burhoe's to see what they could do. The cost was one half what the dealer was going to charge! Burhoe's won't try to sell what you don't need either. Trust is the key word. I trust them!!!

Possessing an aging Chevy, I'm experiencing the joy's of living with a recalcitrant vehicle. This situation places me in an unfortunate position of susceptibility to unscrupulous mechanics. However, the owners, (Steve and Doug), at Burhoe's Automotive have consistently demonstrated honesty and fairness where a more villainous individual could have taken advantage of the situation. Therefor, I can think of no higher praise then to say Steve and Doug treat their customers with probity and respect.

I have worked with them for 25 years, with VW's, Audis, Subaru's, Jeep's and Dodge Grand Caravan's. They were able to deal with all my cars, and in the rare instances when they knew they couldn't, they referred me to dealers and explained why. They are perfect mechanics--honest, reliable and timely in their maintenance and repairs. They have have often done routine work (e.g. fixing flat tires) on short notice. I could not give them a higher recommendation. They are the best.
