The Lyon's are always accommodating, always give you straight information, and will tell you if they are not equipped to handle your problem. In the latter case they will give you a recommendation. They go out of their way to work with you within your time constraints, and have gone so far as to deliver the car when the work was completed "because it was on our way home". They are actually repairing four family cars (as needed of course) as a result of our recommendations. We drive an Acura, a Subaru, and two Hondas. They have also worked on our Chevies, Volvo's and Mitsubishis. A family run business, they treat their customers like family.

In addition to excellent service, I have been able to get
good advice from Jack. Sometimes I can even wait for my
car in complete discomfort in his waiting area which
consists of a card table, and two folding chairs.

These folks have been servicing our cars for a number of
years. They always make an effort to get us an
appointment as rapidly as posssible. When Jack says we
can wait for the car in perfect discomfort, he means it.
The waiting area consists of two folding chairs. But, he
will always try to drive you home while car is worked on,
and pick you up when complete. He always calls if
anything is discovered above and beyond the agreed upon
work order. These people are very very good.

Great shop! They admit when they dont know what is going on with your car. I
had a couple of problems with my VW. Once, they noticed that it still may be
under warrantee for a particular issue, they made an appointment at the
dealership AND towed my car out there for me! Another time, they were
confused with a reading on the car's computer, and did not want to replace a
part that may not have been bad, so they sent me to another shop who was
more familiar with VW's (not only did they refer me to that shop, they even made
an appointment for me)! Great shop! Great team!

It is my very good fortune to have purchased a home near
Lyons service. My car is a 1994 Honda Accord, and I
believe it is still running well thanks to the quality
service provided by Jack and his staff. I would refer any
one to him without hesitation. In fact, he also services
my wife's car, a 1996 Saturn. Thanks Jack.

The folks at Lyon's Gulf are very nice and did a good job
on my 10 year old Tahoe. They quickly did an oil and
tranny service. I had a tough A/C issue and they tried
their best to fix it but in the end recommended living
without it. It is a busy repair shop so make sure you have
an appointment.

The Lyons Shop is great. I make a point of checking out my
mechanics on various sites (Car Talk, of course) and have
found nothing but great reviews on this shop. I've taken
both my 2001 Nissan Maxima and my wife's Honda minivan
there, and, in all cases, they were upfront about problems,
didn't try and fix things that didn't need fixing, were
responsive to requests, are focused on customer service,
and their prices are reasonable. They need a bigger shop
in my opinion so more people can get serviced -- the place
is busy. But don't let that scare you -- they are worth the
wait AND if you call and make an appointment they will get
you in and out quickly.
