Like most psychology majors, I'm broke. When my car breaks down, I try to fix it myself. This last breakdown, however, was beyond my abilities to fix (let's be honest, most are!) and I needed a mechanic I could trust to get it right the first time. Rod at Indian Trail Imports graciously walked me through the diagnosis (hole in the distributer and a blown valve cover gasket) and repair, and the techs had my 97 Saab out of the shop in two days. The car now runs like a champ! They even notified me of a service bulletin about a grounding problem, which they fixed for a nominal fee. Now, the automatic locks and sunroof both work again! I commend these guys for their professionalism, accessibility and timely service.

I get a feeling of of confidence and straight forward handling that is rare in my experience. Recently, while out of town, I had a problem with my Passat. I called this shop for advice. The owner recalled a service bulletin related to my problem. The service was performed by a VW dealer without charge although the vehicle is 5 years old with 97k miles. I am convinced that my car should the good care that this shop gave and that the information I brought to the dealer made everything go more smoothly.
